Exton, Pennsylvania – Vestris’ Vettes announces delivery of a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette resto-mod in Tasco Turquoise with Ermine White coves and a beige interior.The ’59 is powered by a Chevy Gen III LS1 all aluminum V-8 rated at 350hp. A Tremec TKO500 5 speed transmission and a 3:36posi gear set gets the power to the road. Fitted with a Jim Meyer racing IFS system including; power rack and pinion steering,Wilwood power disc brakes, slotted and vented rotors and QA1 coilover suspension. In the rear QA1 dual adjustable shocks provide a balance of ride quality and rock solid handling.

The interior is a beautiful combination of the Tasco Turquoise gauge pod and carpet and beige leather seats, dash and door panels. Sound is provided by a Retro Sound system that provides classic styling and current technology in the same manner that the Autometer gauges complete the look on the dash.Never one to advocate reckless vehicle operation, John Vestri the company’s founder indicated that “more than one Porsche driver has been surprised by the spirited performance of this ’59.” Vestri went on to say, “at approximately 2750 lbs., the power to weight ratio exceeds that of a 911.”
